A Message Blast is now called a Manual reminder. It lets you contact a group of patients at once outside of your automated schedule.
Before you begin
Multi-location accounts: Actions happen at the individual location level. From the Global Dashboard, switch to the office you want to use.
Make sure patient contact details are up to date in your PMS so Intiveo can send to the right channel.
Send a Manual reminder from an Actionable Report
You can send to selected patients directly from your Appointments or Recalls reports.
Open the report:
Appointments: go to Appointments and click Overview and select an Actionable Appointments Report.
Recalls: go to Recalls and click Overview then select an Actionable Recalls Report
Use filters to narrow your list (date range, providers, appointment types, etc.).
Select recipients using the checkboxes on the left.
Click Send Manual Reminder (previously known as message blast).
Select a Manual Reminder Template or Resend the previous manual reminder then click Send.
Delivery logic: Intiveo will send by text when possible. If a patient can’t receive texts but has an email on file, the message will send by email.
What happens after a manual reminder is sent? After a manual reminder is sent, a note is automatically added to the patient’s log in Intiveo.
Create or edit Manual Reminder templates
You can create or edit templates used for manual reminder messages from each feature’s settings:
Appointment Manual reminder templates: Reminders → settings → Manual reminders to compose and save templates.
Recall Manual reminder templates: Recalls → settings → Manual reminders.
From these pages, you can add, edit, or delete templates that you've created.
About Default Filters in reports
Actionable reports let you set Default filters so the report always opens with the criteria you use most (date ranges, providers, appointment types, and more).
Turn Default filters on to load your saved defaults.
Apply any filter at the top of the report to override them.
Toggle the switch back on to re-apply your defaults.
Tips
Use precise filters before selecting recipients to avoid sending to the wrong group.
For time-sensitive notices, send during office hours so replies route to staff quickly.
For large sends, consider splitting by provider to keep messages highly relevant.
